"The Creator of all things labored on into the fourth day.

Once he paused and, more thoughtfully than at any time before, created something that was not alive. He hung a small moon just outside the earth's skies.

With that done, Creator placed a massive ball at the very center of the nine tiny planets. He touched it, and the giant ball burst into boiling fire that lit up the world of nine planets.

And at the same instant that the Lord lit the earth's sun, he created stars also--a hundred billion balls of twinkling light.

The splendor of earth's sun filled the day, while at night earth's moon reflected the glory of the sun.

'More pictures! More pictures of our Lord!' observed a delighted Exalta. . . .

And so it was, for the entire sixth day was given over wholly to creating new forms of life. And each time their Lord created, the angels observed that the form of life he brought forth was a little higher than the one before. Nor was it lost on them that, each time he created, the pictures of himself, which he wove so skillfully into each creature, grew more distinct.

It was midway through the sixth day that the Lord created one that was more like himself than any other living thing. The entire angelic host encircled this tiny creature, singing to it with mingled honor and awe.
