SoAmazing Facts 4
The fourth episode of SoAmazing Facts has washed ashore. Its two new SoAmazing Facts and the subtle pitch will complement the facts you learned last time about the first-of-its-kind, secondary navigation system that operates off the Bible verses in the left column and off the Bible verses on the top and bottom banner. And, they will complement what you learned about the special link chosen by me which accompanies my signature everywhere on the site you find it. Let’s get started!
SoAmazing Fact 1
The burnished copper bars are the stars of this SoAmazing Fact. We've added them to this page for illustrative purposes. These bars are used two different ways on the site. Most often you will notice two of them creating a space to house special comments, paid advertising pitches from outside companies, subtle and blatant pitches of ours, interesting tidbits or reminders of all sorts. They are always found in the right column of the page.
The second use is to divide off an area near the bottom of the page. After the primary content of the page ends, the copper bar appears, then more text which makes a pitch to sign up for our award winning SoAmazing Letter and finally a pitch for the next page coming up.
The burnished copper bars always contain a not-so-obvious link. Each one
on the page has a different link. The bars are graphics and graphics allow
image maps. Image maps allow us to create a ScreenTip. Put the nose of your
pointer on each bar in turn and pause a moment while our tiny little web
guys race around trying to get the ScreenTip to display. They are good at
it and if your web browser does ScreenTips well you will surely see it.
Clickle one or more of the copper bars and our tiny web guys will see to
it that you get to a surprise SoAmazing page. Check it out. Come back here
by using the back button of your browser.
SoAmazing Fact 2
David Wolfe and Carol Burmania would sign off their emails to me
with a combination of a backward slash, the lower case letter o,
and finally, a forward slash. The grouping looks like this \o/
and they would tell me that it meant “Praise the LORD!” It does
kind of look like a person with his or her hands up in the air
doing some serious praising.
It caused me to create the graphic you can see at link below
which is known as the "Praise the LORD" graphic. You can follow
the link in a moment, but this is what the graphic does. If you
move your pointer over it, one of more than 27 different praise
sayings appears. Second, if your browser favors them a ScreenTip
will appear. Third, a pressdown of your left mouse button will
reveal a second hidden graphic which says, "Clickle Me!" Imagine
that! If you complete the Clickle it will take you to a page
which contains the SoAmazing Card with the verse, "“Praise the LORD!"
and the story on how the card was developed and for what group
of people each of the colors on the graphic stands. Whenever you
see the button on the site be sure to check it out to see if
you’ve seen the praise phrase before. Pick out the one of the
27 which you like the best! Copy and paste or type the link
below into the address area of your web browser and press
enter. The link will take you right to the button in the middle
of page. Check out the button and the whole page. See what you
think! Follow the Praise the LORD link. Read the details of
the story. Use the back button on your browser to come back here.

Got Your Catcher's Mitt?
Here’s the pitch. For every book quotation the bookcover graphic,
the title information and one of the links in the Buy Now!
Section at the end of the quotation are all live links to the
very page on Amazon’s site where the book is featured.
You can Clickle anyone of the links to buy the book. You can
also Clickle the link to go to check out the book reviews
Amazon has done, reviews written by individuals who have
read the book, often there are book excerpts, recommendations
for complementary books, the various ways the book is sold i.e.
hardcover, paperback, packaged with another book or whether an
audio tape exists. Amazon does a good job serving its customers
and it’s a major reason we selected them for our site. They
are presently the world’s largest online bookseller and they
meet many of the other criteria we’ve established for Merchants
on our site. Perhaps the biggest is that they have also done a
good job for us when we’ve purchased books. We highly recommend
Amazon.
Below is a bookcover graphic, the title information and a
typical Buy Now! Section at the bottom of the quotations. Try
the bookcover link and then find your way back here by closing
the Amazon window. Just Clickle the "X" at the upper right
corner of their page. Now try the title information link and
return, and finally try the Buy Now! link and return. You will
learn a lot.
The links to booksellers are for your convenience. Only buy
what you want to buy. We do make a commission when you buy a book or books on a visit that begins by Clickling a link on our site.
